Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) launched the exclusively styled arcade racing game titled "Cart Kings", targeted towards young kids on PSP™ and PS2™. One can race around bullock carts, ridden by any of one’s favourite Tinkle characters – Shikari Shambhu, Supandi, Tantri the Mantri or any of the other Indian characters and race through the various landmarks across India.

Developed by the Hyderabad based Gameshastra, Cart Kings is the latest release from their series of PlayStation games that are with uniquely Indian flavour. Gameshastra is one of the early developers who has worked closely with SCEE in developing PlayStation games across various console formats. The latest game of Cart Kings comprises of an arcade style racing interspersed with popular Indian comic characters. For the first time in the Indian context, Cart Kings is an authentic arcade-style racing genre game. When playing Cart Kings, gamers will experience the Indian streets in many of the famous tourist landmarks of India. The 8 select landmarks spread far and wide across the entire length and the breath of the country include, Kush Mountains, Tiger Land, Tea Garden, the destinations of Delhi, Orissa and Bollywood.
According to Atindriya Bose, Country Manager, Sony PlayStation - India, “Cart Kings is a significant step where we have worked closely with Indian IP owner like ACK Media to have a game distinctly designed for the young Indian audience. This game features cart races in Indian environments and setting with the inclusion of famously established cartoon characters from Tinkle. The game is pure fun with the most recognizable Indian characters which make this a must have this summer season for the Indian kid.”
